Child Protection Guidelines

The NESCPC Guidelines are produced to provide guidance to individuals working within agencies. The guidelines give general information on child protection and set out the actions that should be taken following any concerns about a child's safety or welfare. The guidelines are revised every 6 months on-line.

To save trees and everybody's printing costs we have produced a user-friendly website version. To find specific information you need in the guidelines, go to the contents page and place your mouse over the relevant page number, click on the mouse and you will be taken directly to the information you require.

The NESCPC also has information for parents and carers about general issues around child protection.
