Launch of National Child Protection Phoneline
A new national 24 hour freephone child protection line 0800 022 3222 is being launched on 12.02.07/
Any member of the public may phone this number with child protection concerns.
It's far better to be safe than sorry and nobody should worry that they are wasting anybody's time - it's everyones job to make sure our children are alright.
(We would far rather check something out and discover that a child is safe and well than get called in further down the line, by which time it might be a very different story).
