The NESCPC disaggregated in March 2013 and since that time 3 Local Authority area child protection committee structures have been in place: Aberdeen Child Protection Committee, Moray Child Protection Committee and Aberdeenshire Child and Family Protection Committee.

A North East office continues to manage The Child Protection Register of behalf of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray and deliver child protection Training as required by the three child protection committee partnerships.

The current NESCPC Child Protection Committee Guidelines and other related guidance/protocols continue to provide the framework for working together to safeguard and promote the well being of children and young people.

These will be reviewed and revised by the three area committees.
