The NESCPC has a Constitution, which is the whole agreement between the different members involved. The Constitution sets out the composition of the Committee as well as its functions, how members will be appointed, the rules around the appointment of the convenor and the vice convenor and the action the Committee should take if neither is available at any given Committee meeting. The arrangements for support services, meetings, sub-committees, financial arrangements, confidentiality, indemnity; dispute settlement and relevant legal statute are also included.
